Biodiversity tour guide for drivers
A tour guide for motorists wanting to see scenic biodiversity spots in the Yangtze River Delta will be released as part of the Shanghai International Nature Conservation Festival opening on Saturday, officials said.
The guides will offer itineraries for bird watching, plant appreciation and other activities, according to authorities.
Some attractions on the list are Mount Jianglang in Zhejiang Province whose Danxia landform was listed in the 2010 World Heritage List, Yandang Mountains in Zhejiang, and Dafeng Milu Nature Reserve.
“An increasing number of people now prefer self-driving tours, but they often get lost,” said an official with Shanghai Tourism Administration. “We want to introduce more choices for them, including some less-known places that feature beautiful natural scenery.”
The guide will be on the website of Shanghai International Nature Conservation Festival on http://www.sinc.org.cn/.
