THE former assistant director of the Shanghai Aerospace Bureau 803 Research Institute yesterday was handed a 12-year prison sentence for bribery. Luan Yijun, who accepted bribes of 2.32 million yuan (US$362,925) from 2006 to 2009 will also have his 400,000 yuan personal property confiscated. Luan was said to use the money to purchase a villa and invest.
