Bund tragedy probe results out today

THE Shanghai government will hold a press conference today to announce the result of its investigation into the tragedy on the Bund that killed 36 and injured 49 on New Year’s Eve.
The city’s Party discipline inspection commission will also announce the findings of a probe into claims that Huangpu District officials dined at a luxury Japanese restaurant near the Bund just hours before the tragedy.
