SOME of the city’s 300 transport card self-service machines in Metro stations will be out of service during an exercise until July 28 on dealing with machine breakdowns.
Metro operator Shanghai Shentong said the trial will help ensure passengers can still recharge the cards at counters if the self-service machine network encounters a breakdown.
