A LOCAL crosstalk club has raised almost 407,000 yuan (US$66,000) for charity after staging a series of performances at the Daning Theater over the past three Sundays. The money will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University and will be used to help underprivileged children suffering from leukemia.
The Bailingshe crosstalk club has members from all walks of life and even boasts several foreigners among its number.
