City Targets Additives
SHANGHAI quality authorities said yesterday they will tighten management of food additives this year, and the dairy industry will be a major focus.
All food manufacturers will be required to keep records of workers and supervisors who are in charge of food additives to improve quality control, the Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision said.
In addition, the bureau will carry out training for more than 10,000 migrant workers involved in food processing to improve their job skills.
