A crane driver, surnamed Wu, has been ruled to pay 30,800 yuan (US$4,646) in compensation to his employer for driving a crane to buy breakfast October 21, 2009, without permission and killing a pedestrian in an accident, the Yangpu District People's Court said yesterday.
