Crayfish crime
EIGHT people have been charged with selling out-of-date crayfish in the Pudong New Area.
The defendants were said to have made more than 800,000 yuan (US$123,000) from the sales, prosecutors’ said, without saying what punishments they were given. The defendants bought seafood they knew was unsuitable for sale, claiming they would dispose of it. However, they then sold it on. They also forged documents and photographs in order to cheat the company they bought it from.
