Death sentences for killer couple

A COUPLE who murdered the woman's ex-husband were sentenced to death by the Shanghai Railway Transportation Intermediate People's Court, although the woman has been given a reprieve, officers said yesterday.
Zhao Suyun's ex-husband wanted to get back with his 45-year-old former spouse and moved back home but she had become lovers with Wang Bin, 41. Wang and Zhao suffocated the husband in March and cut up his body to hide the crime. Wang boiled the corpse and abandoned it in a river in Pudong New Area.
