THREE batches of clothing authorized by Disney failed quality tests, the Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau said yesterday.
A batch of hats made by Shanghai Shangxi Children’s Products Co failed for excessive formaldehyde, while another batch of hats made by Shanghai Kanghua Clothing and Hat Co were found to have fiber content that did not match its label, according to the bureau. And clothing by Tongtai Children’s Clothing Co failed the pH index test, the bureau said.
