Drug user jailed

A man found in possession of more than 200 grams of methamphetamine at the Shanghai Railway Station last year has been sentenced to 15 years in jail and fined 30,000 yuan (US$4,944), the Shanghai Railway Intermediate People’s Court heard yesterday. Li Qiaolong, 27, was arrested on September 2 by a police officer as he sat in a waiting room. He was found carrying four packets of methamphetamine with a combined weight of 213.67g, prosecutors said.
