A MAN who killed his mother and younger brother due to business conflicts has been sentenced to death by the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court.
Sun, 32, a Henan Province native, ran a liquid gas trading business with his brother, but the pair split due to business conflicts. Sun went to his brother's house early on July 23 last year, hoping to solve the dispute, but the brothers fought again. Their mother was awoken up by the disturbance and helped Sun's brother beat his sibling. Sun then attacked his brother and mother with a hammer, killing both.
