A total of 22 people have been punished and fined by administrative and Party discipline agencies for a fatal building site accident, the city’s emergency management bureau has announced. On September 10, at 179 Kangnan Road in the Pudong New Area, two workers lost consciousness when drawing water from the basement of a new school project. During the rescue, another worker also lost consciousness.
