Fuel surcharges down

FLYING is becoming cheaper as Chinese airlines yesterday cut fuel surcharges on domestic routes for the fourth consecutive month due to lower jet fuel prices. From Friday, the fuel surcharge on domestic routes of over 800 kilometers will be cut to 60 yuan (US$9.7) from the previous 70 yuan, said online ticket platform ctrip.com.
