Girl, 3, dies in fall from 6th floor

A 3-year-old child died after falling from the sixth floor in a community in Songjiang District this morning.
The girl was looked after by her grandmother since her parents were traveling.
She climbed up to the windowsill of the residential building in Lantianxincun Community and fell when her grandmother was in the washroom at 7:30am today.
The death is being considered an accident, Song said.
The girl was declared dead after undergoing emergency treatment for an hour, the local hospital said.
