A 19-YEAR-old boy has been sentenced to three years in prison for destroying Website servers as a hacker and extorting the victims, Qingpu District People's Court ruled.
The boy surnamed Yuan studied hacker lessons and intruded into servers of three Websites last June to test his ability. He deleted all the documents on the servers and extorted 55,000 yuan (US$8,000).
