SHANGHAI Food and Drug Administration yesterday ordered local drug stores to stop selling batches of six companies' weight-loss health tonics, as they containing chemicals banned in health products.
Two companies said tonics detected with illegal chemicals by authorities were counterfeit and that the FDA sealed off the entire production batch for further investigations.
