Hotel catches fire

TWENTY people had to be evacuated from a hotel in Jing’an District yesterday after it caught fire, local authorities said. The blaze at the Hi Inn on Wanhangdu Road started about 10:40am in a utility room on the top floor of the five-story building. No one was hurt and the fire was brought under control in about 15 minutes, the local fire bureau said. Its cause is being investigated.
