TWO women who sold counterfeit designer bags, wallets and watches worth more than 4.8 million yuan (US$762,000) were jailed for six months and 5 1/2 months, the Minhang District People's Court said yesterday. The pair, surnamed Jin and Jiang, sold fake brands including LV, Gucci and Chanel. Policemen captured the duo in October in an apartment on Fujian Road M., together with more than 700 pieces of bogus products.
