Two men were badly injured during a fight over a woman on Tuesday, which was the Qixi festival, or Chinese Valentine’s Day. Witnesses said two men and a woman were quarreling near a bus station in Xuhui District at about 11pm. One man, surnamed Shang, suddenly pulled out a knife during the argument and stabbed the other man surnamed Li. After that, Shang cut his own throat. Police said the two men were in a stable condition and they were still investigating the case.
