Man hands himself in after killing girlfriend

A MAN handed himself into police yesterday after killing his girlfriend at their home in Putuo District.
The 24-year-old surnamed Wang, a native of east China’s Anhui Province, told police he strangled his 23-year-old partner, a native of east China’s Shandong Province, following a quarrel.
The incident happened about 5am in the couple’s single room apartment on Aomen Road, police said.
Wang, accompanied by his father, turned himself in two hours later.
Police are investigating.
