Man held over sex assaults on 3 girls

A SEX offender has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing three girls, Huangpu District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
The 52-year-old suspect, surnamed Dong, had served four and a half years behind bars for sexual offences.
According to prosecutors, on September 27 he lured three girls, aged five and six, who were playing near a residential community on Yunnan Road S., back to his home by promising them chocolate.
He then abused the girls and threatened them not to tell anyone.
When two of the girls were later asked who gave them the chocolate, they told their parents what had happened.
Dong was later held in his home after the girls led police to the house.
