A man who allegedly earned 191 yuan by selling porn videos via online chatting platforms QQ and WeChat has been charged with selling pornographic materials, prosecutors in Jinshan District said yesterday.
According to prosecutors, Jinshan police received a tipoff about someone selling porn videos online via QQ on January 18 this year and soon targeted the owner of a QQ account. The man, surnamed Qi, was captured by police the same day. When officers checked his online storage, they found that 149 of the 158 videos stored in it were pornographic.
