Man whose dogs attacked people in pub faces charges
POLICE announced yesterday that a drunken man who released his dogs so they would attack people is under arrest and will face criminal charges.
The suspect, surnamed Lu, allegedly took two dogs into a pub in Qingpu District on Tuesday evening and manipulated them to attack. Six people suffered dog bites and were sent for medical treatment. The suspect was still drunk when he was taken in for police questioning. The pub workers said the dogs looked like Tibetan mastiffs, a fierce and powerful breed. The angry man arrived to look for someone and after he failed to find the person, he allegedly went crazy and unleashed the dogs.
