MICROSOFT Corp yesterday won 60,000 yuan (US$8,788) in compensation after two Shanghai firms were found guilty of software piracy.
Microsoft took them to Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court in August. The court also ordered that Shanghai Changfeng Information Technology and its supplier Shanghai Chenyue Information Technology to stop the infringement immediately.
