Mooncakes pass quality scrutiny

THE Shanghai Food and Drug Administration announced rosy results after checking 61 mooncakes sold in city markets.
Only one sample, produced by Shanghai Youyishi Co, was found to have too much food preservative. The administration said yesterday that city mooncake quality levels had been above 98 percent perfect for three straight years.
