Orion fined for ads
Orion China has been fined 50,000 yuan (US$8,145) by the city’s market watchdog for misleading advertising, officials said yesterday. The China branch of the confectionery company, which has its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, was penalized for making the misleading claim on its packaging that its potato puff products had a crisp taste, were not greasy and contained no trans fats, the Shanghai Industrial and Commercial Administrative Bureau announced.
