Pudong agricultural fair to open

Residents are invited to participate in the Pudong New Area Agricultural Fair, which will be launched by the Pudong government tomorrow.
About 100 exhibitors will display more than 500 distinct agricultural products, including "8424 Watermelons" and other organic food and flowers in the Nanhui area.
Meanwhile, farming experts will share their tips to select good fruit and vegetables with participants. Visitors can discover local agricultural history through a photo exhibition and other activities including pumpkin painting.
Admission to the three-day fair is completely free. The address is at Yuanshen Sports Development Center (No 888, Taolin Road), which is linked with the Expo Site by Expo Shuttle Bus No 13.
The shuttle bus will help attract World Expo visitors including overseas tourists to the fair, organizers said.
