WATER purifiers of Litree and Jiuyang were found to contain excessive level of heavy metals, the Shanghai Consumer Rights Protection Commission said yesterday.
Litree is made by a Hainan company and was found to contain excessive levels of lead, cadmium and mercury. Jiuyang is made in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and contained excessive level of lead.
