A SHANGHAI man has been jailed for 13 years on a manslaughter charge after seriously injuring his lover's daughter in revenge for her betrayal. Zhabei District People's Court sentenced the impoverished man, who said in the hearing that he is willing to sell his organs, his only property, to compensate the victim.
The man sold his only small apartment to help his lover pay off debts while planning to marry her. She refused his proposal and the man later stabbed her 18-year-old daughter to get revenge.
