Russian killed in highway pileup

A MAN died and another was seriously injured on Tuesday night in a five-car pileup on the G1501 highway in Fengxian District.
The incident happened about 10:30pm when a truck overturned causing four other cars to crash. Two Russian men traveling in a sedan driven by a local man were trapped for several hours. Emergency teams eventually cut the pair free, but one was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was taken to a local hospital where his condition is described as stable. The two men were on their way to the Pudong International Airport when the accident happened.
