Security tightened on trains to Suzhou
SECURITY on trains bound for Suzhou will be tightened from today as part of the preparations for next week’s international summit in the city, Shanghai railway police said yesterday.
At least 50 officers armed with tear gas will be deployed on all trains running to the city until the conclusion of the Fourth Meeting of Heads of Government of China and Eastern European countries on Wednesday, it said in a press release.
