A senior Shanghai government official is under investigation for serious disciplinary violations, the city’s Party discipline inspection commission said yesterday.
Dai Haibo, the city’s deputy secretary-general, is a former executive deputy director of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration. Chen Yin, former Party secretary of Yangpu District, took over the role in September. Dai, 53, was appointed deputy secretary-general of the city government and executive deputy director of the FTZ administration in 2013.
