Suspects held for theft

TWO suspects were arrested for stealing objects valued at 300,000 yuan (US$43,100) from 10 apartments in Pudong in the past two months, police said yesterday.
The suspects, one who committed the burglaries and the other who was on alert downstairs, used walkie-talkies to prevent their mobile phone communications being exposed to police, officers said. Most of the burglaries took place in Yangjing subdistrict.
