TV license fees face digital review

THE city's price bureau will hold a hearing on the adjustment of cable TV license fees on November 23 as the downtown network upgrades from analog to digital.
The fee is now 13 yuan (US$1.90) a month. About 2.5 million households in downtown will enjoy better image quality TV from 2011 after the upgrade is completed.
