Shanghai Qiangsheng Taxi Co has completed the integration of its dispatching system with the two main taxi booking applications Kuaidi Taxi and Didi Taxi.
With the new link, as soon as a cabby accepts a fare from either of the apps the top light on his or her vehicle will automatically change from “For Hire” to “Dispatched.” The system is designed to make life easier for people looking for a taxi on the street by making it obvious which vehicles are available and which are not. The city’s three other main taxi firms will establish similar systems before the end of the month.
