RENJI Hospital has announced the successful removal of a large tumor from a new mother’s heart. The 27-year-old began feeling ill seven months into her pregnancy. A check-up at the hospital found the life-threatening tumor in her chest. The baby was delivered on February 9 and the mother underwent surgery on the tumor three days later. She has since recovered and was recently discharged, said officials.
