Yee to judge films

HONG Kong filmmaker Derek Yee will chair the jury for the Asian New Talent Award at this year’s Shanghai International Film Festival, officials said yesterday.
Yee, whose directing credits include “One Nite In Mongkok” and “I Am Somebody” is the incumbent chairman of the Hong Kong Film Awards Association. This year’s Shanghai film festival is scheduled to run from June 11 to 19.
