1 killed, 4 injured in Chinese university lab blast

A UNIVERSITY laboratory blasted yesterday in east China's Jiangsu Province, leaving one student dead and four others injured, the university said on its microblog.
The blast occurred around 12:40pm at China University of Mining and Technology in Xuzhou City. The four injured are being treated.
Police are looking into the cause of the accident.
