11 tourists missing in Fujian

A total of 11 tourists are missing at a tourist attraction in east China's Fujian Province, police in the provincial capital Fuzhou said today.
The tourists, including 10 men and a woman from Putian City, were supposed to return to Putian Sunday after a trip to Shibachongxi, a resort about 20 km west to Fuzhou City, said a police spokesman.
Their families reported to police as all of them were out of reach today.
The police bureau in Fuzhou has sent 100 police officers and 100 firefighters to search for the missing.
