11 trapped after coal mine accident in Sichuan
ELEVEN people have been trapped underground after a coal-mine gas accident in southwestern China's Sichuan Province this afternoon, local authorities said.
The work safety department of the province said, the accident occurred at around 11:30am in the Yongsheng coal mine in Wanyuan City under the jurisdiction of Dazhou City.
The rescue work is under way and the exact cause of the accident is still unknown.
