13 kids injured when kindergarten wall collapses in Shaanxi

THIRTEEN children and one teacher were injured when a wall at a private kindergarten in Shaanxi Province collapsed yesterday, a spokesman with county government said today.
The accident happened at around 10am in Zhangge Village, Jingyang County, Xianyang City, when the wall of a house adjacent to the kindergarten toppled and crashed into the kindergarten's wall.
Sixteen children were 2 to 3 meters away from the kindergarten's wall when it collapsed.
It is not known why the house wall toppled.
The injured were rushed to the county hospital. Two children sustained severe injuries and were transferred to a hospital in Xianyang City.
Villager Zhang Huayu and his wife Shi Huanjuan ran the kindergarten at their home.
