18 Anhui students sickened by food poisoning

EIGHTEEN middle school students in Haozhou City, Anhui Province, showed symptoms of food poisoning after having supper outside the campus on Tuesday. Two are still in hospital and the rest were released on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
Examination found nitrite in their food and the restaurant was closed by authority immediately.
Officials said the first student started to throw up at about 7pm and the school called the ambulance to rush him to Haozhou People's Hospital. Later, other students showed the same symptom and they were also sent to the same hospital.
