19 Chinese sailors on Singaporean ship hijacked in Gulf of Aden
SINGAPOREAN ship "Golden Blessing" with 19 Chinese sailors on board was hijacked by pirates in waters of the Gulf of Aden Monday, the China Marine Rescue Center said this afternoon.
The ship was sailing on its way from Saudi Arabia to India when it was hijacked by an unknown number of pirates, the center said.
Rescue effort is under way and the fate of the Chinese sailors remained unclear, it added.
