19 miners saved from flooded mine

Nineteen miners have been rescued from a flooded coalmine in northeastern China so far after being trapped for more than 160 hours.
Three others still remain missing in the Heilongjiang mine and rescue work is continuing, said Xu Guangguo, vice governor of the province.
The flooding started last Tuesday, when 45 miners were working inside the Hengtai Coal Mine in the city of Qitaihe and 19 miners immediately escaped, Xinhua news agency reported today.
Three were rescued on Saturday and one died while crawling along a shaft towards rescuers.
