19-year-old kills her newborn

AN unmarried young woman was sentenced to six years for killing her daughter after giving birth in a company toilet in Hebei Province at Hebei No.1 Intermediate People's Court yesterday.
The 19-year-old surnamed Wang said the baby's father surnamed Xu left her last summer when she showed signs of pregnancy. However, she mistook for stomach illness, reported Jinghua Times, a local newspaper.
On November 5, she gave birth in the toilet at her workplace. Fears swept her as the baby burst out crying and she hurriedly crashed the baby's head to the wall to death.
Later one of her boss surnamed Shi was told about the murder by Wang and helped her call the police, the report said.
