2 killed as trainer aircraft crashes in Sichuan

A TRAINER aircraft crashed in southwest China’s Sichuan Province at 3:25pm yesterday, killing the flying instructor and trainee on board, local government said.
Aircraft wreckage with markings stating “Civil Aviation Flight University of China” clearly visible was found in farmland in Haiyun Village of Dujiangyan City.
Officials with the Southwest Regional Administration of Civil Aviation Administration of China are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
