2 seized after mob fight leaves 9 dead in Yunnan

TWO coal mine contractors are facing criminal charges for allegedly organizing a mob fight over the ownership of two mines in southwest Yunnan Province. The violence left nine people dead and 48 injured on Thursday.
Wang Jianfu, contractor of Xiaosongdi Coal Mine, and Zheng Chunyun, contractor of Yuejin Coal Mine, were arrested by police in Luxi County immediately after the fatal fight.
Police gave no more details about the incidence, local news website Yunnan.cn reported today.
