21 die in head-on collision with truck

At least 21 people have died after a mini-bus hit a truck head-on in Xiaoxian County in east China's Anhui Province around 6:30am this morning.
The accident happened on 311 national highway, Xinhua news agency reported today.
The mini-bus was seriously misshaped and it took rescuers three hours to pull the passengers out of the bus. The injured ones have been sent to hospitals for treatment.
The truck loaded with sand plunged into a roadside ditch.
Local traffic authorities said the death toll might rise as the rescue mission continues.
An investigation is underway.
