23 hurt in bus crash

TWENTY-THREE people were injured after a coach plunged into a pit in central China’s Hunan Province on Saturday, The coach, which was on a road near Zengfu Village, skidded before plunging into the 7-meter deep pit around 8am. The passengers and the driver were rescued by local residents and taken to hospital.
